What are our hours of business?

Baskets Because operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 12pm. Contact us at this time by telephone 1300 557 309 or 02 4256 9900.

Of course we can accept orders via the internet 24/7.

Fruit & Flowers

Deliveries of fruit baskets, flower arrangements outside of the Illawarra are sent via a relay network. Pictures on our site are a guide only and actual content may vary.

Baskets Because Delivery Policy

We deliver locally within the Illawarra region Monday to Friday and on Weekends for special occasions such as Mother's Day & Father's Day. Deliveries outside of the Illawarra are handled by Couriers Please & Fastway Couriers and they ONLY deliver Monday to Friday. Be sure to check the delivery time frame details carefully and contact us if you are unsure.

Flower deliveries every day except Sunday & public holidays to most towns & cities in Australia.

Baskets Because delivers to anywhere within Australia (except the Northern Territory. Fruit & Flowers only to the NT) We can also deliver floral arrangements overseas. We can also provide gift baskets to most overseas destinations utilising our links with international Gift Basket retailers.

Baskets Because gives you the option of choosing to pick up or have us courier your gift basket, gift hamper or floral arrangement to its destination.

The following time frames should be used as a guide only. These time frames are provided by Fastway Couriers and are estimated delivery time frames only.

Orders of 2 or more hampers to the one destination may incur additional freight charges. Katrina will contact you if additional freight charges are to be applied.

Baskets Because cannot be responsible for delivery delays beyond our control and as such will not provide specific delivery times of arrival, only approximate.

Please ensure your recipient address is a business address, or if a personal address it must be able to be left safe (you will need to indicate this under special instructions on your shipping details). Please also provide contact telephone no. of recipient if possible to allow us to confirm delivery details if required.

If a gift cannot be delivered due to incorrect address or no person available for signing the extra courier charge for re-delivery will be forwarded on to you.

What if I need to send a gift to multiple destinations?

You simply need to process them as individual orders. If you have multiple orders to one destination you can process that as one order.

Orders of 2 or more hampers to the one destination may incur additional freight charges. Katrina will contact you if additional freight charges are to be applied.

Alternatively, simply give Katrina & the team a call and place your order over the phone.

What are my payment options?

All prices are in Australian Dollars AUD and are inclusive of GST

A small shipping / delivery charge will apply to all orders (on line and in any other format) unless you are collecting from Basket Because premises in Albion Park Rail.

We accept EFTPOS if paying on the premises

Baskets Because requires payment upon ordering for large orders and may require a deposit for Christmas orders.

Once we have received an order you will be sent an email confirming the order and your order number. Anytime you have further questions you can email us and quote your order number for a prompt response.

Baskets Because replacement policy

If for reasons beyond our control particular items are not available as pictured on the website, Baskets Because will automatically replace with another item of equal value and quality.

What if I need to cancel an order?

For all orders placed on our website we incur bank fees and gateway provider fees. Therefore, we must pass some of this fee onto you should you choose to cancel an order.

For this purpose we will impose a small fee of 5% of the total of the order.

Therefore, if you choose to cancel an order and request a refund we will deduct the 5% from the order total and refund the balance to your credit card.

You will need to contact us and provide your credit card number along with the name on the card and expiry date. We require this information from you as we do not receive any of your credit card details when an order is placed.

Once an order has been sent we can no longer provide a refund. If you have failed to check delivery time frames or simply change your mind then you must wear the cost.

Details regarding your order and delivery are sent to us and all payment details are sent via the Commonwealth Banks secure online payment gateway. At no stage do we have access to your credit card details.

Baskets Because return policy

Baskets Because does not accept responsibility for a gift once it has left our premises, however, if a gift arrives excessively damaged or a product is faulty, Baskets Because will assess the situation for replacement based on the circumstances.

Baskets Because takes every care to ensure that your gift arrives at its destination on time and in pristine condition. Reputable couriers are employed to deliver your gifts. However we cannot guarantee unforeseen situations such as damage or theft, or late delivery of your gift.

Pricing Options

Standard Option

The designs illustrated in this site represent the standard or base value. When you choose the Deluxe or Platinum value size, your gift will be increased in size, content or container value, compared with the illustrated gift basket, hamper or flower arrangements.

DELUXE Price Upgrade

Deluxe Price upgrade allows us to add more items or use items of higher value. We may also upgrade the container, add nicer bows or gift wraps, and in some cases upgrade all of the above. This simply means we are adding an additional $20 value to your gift basket, hamper or flower arrangement.

PLATINUM Price Upgrade

Platinum Price upgrade allows us to add more items or use items of higher value. We may also upgrade the container, add nicer bows or gift wraps, and in some cases upgrade all of the above. This simply means we are adding an additional $40 value to your gift basket, hamper or flower arrangement.
